第81届世界科幻大会场地暨成都科幻馆
81st World Science Fiction Convention Venue (Chengdu Science Fiction Pavilion)
世界科幻大会是全球最受瞩目，历史最悠久，规模和影响力最大的科幻文化主题活动。其颁发的“雨果奖”为世界科幻大奖，被誉为“科幻界的诺贝尔奖”。在华盛顿举办的第79届世界科幻大会上，成都正式取得了2023年第81届世界科幻大会举办资格。这是世界科幻大会第一次在中国举办，也是继2007年日本横滨之后，第二次在亚洲城市举办。设计为81届世界科幻大会提供场所，会议结束之后，大会场所将改造成科幻主题科技展览馆。
The World Science Fiction Convention is the world's most high-profile, longest-standing, largest and most influential science fiction culture event, whose "Hugo Award" is the highest regard in the field of science fiction writing. At its 79th Convention held in Washington, D.C., Chengdu officially won the right for the 81st World Science Fiction Convention in 2023, the first time in China and the second in Asia. A venue will be specially designed for the Convention, and thereafter transformed into a science fiction themed exhibition center.
成都科幻馆是第81届世界科幻大会场地，位于成都郫都区菁蓉湖湖心。设计以对郫都区丰富历史文化的尊重，与当代呈现为设计理念。设计理念是以一种全新的建筑语言，统合传统中分别属于博物馆，及会展类建筑的空间。在满足快速建造，经济环保需求的同时，呈现激动人心的城市形象，既能代表郫都作为蜀人之源的过去，又能代表菁蓉湖畔面向科幻世界的未来。
面对有机而自由的菁蓉湖区域场地形态，最初的设计构思是以纪念性的基本几何体与之对照，共同呈现出震撼人心的对话效果。而最终的提案在此基础上融入我们对郫都历史文化以及科幻未来世界的理解：这是一个古老的都城，穿过岁月，不留痕迹，如天外来客般轻盈的漂浮于场地。这种空间传递的力量，源自天然与人工两个看似矛盾元素的高度整合，融合为一种属于未来的质感。我们从科幻馆独特的场地中获得启发，为到达湖心岛的路径设计了一场美妙的旅程。建筑似乎是一个神秘的太空使者，降临于湖心，完美契合城市期望其承载的科幻意向。

The venue for the 81st World Science Fiction Convention is located in the heart of Jingrong Lake in Pidu District, Chengdu. The design is based on a respect for the rich history and culture of the Pidu, with a contemporary presentation as the design concept. To achieve the best possible design, a design that is fast, economical but exciting, we combined the rational museum and exhibition box with and architectural language that’s is completely unique.
Here you see an early sketch of a key design intension, the combination of freeform and organic natural landscape, with a striking and pure, geometric principal shape. The resulting building is like an ancient city or temple, timeless, clean and easy to understand. Its architectural power, coming from the juxtaposition of two opposing principals; artificial and natural. The location is unique; an island. In order to reach it, you need to go on a journey. The museum is accessed by two bridges, suggesting a landing to an unknown territory, separate from the normal realm of the world. The building becomes a destination, like a mysterious flying object, that has landed to the site, perfectly in harmony with the futuristic aspect of the brief.
